2010‽ I have an old dell laptop motherboard right in front of me from 2006 with a built in SIM slot, and I'm pretty sure theres been laptops since at least 2001 with cellular LMAO

My first cellular laptop was an IBM X Series in 2006?

Before that I was using PCMCIA cellular cards. Did Apple ever support PCMCIA?

There was a leaked 2006 MacBook Pro prototype with a SIM tray and cellular antenna making the rounds in the 2010s.

Maybe one day they’ll finally crack it.
