I wanted to apply to several restaurant jobs and they use a portal website called Staffedup to accept your applications. I couldn't find a delete your account button and when I emailed support asked them to delete my account they sent this message:

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately due to legal requirements for employers to keep records of applicants who apply at their establishment, we are unable to delete your account. However, you can remove all outstanding applications and make yourself non visible to anyone by simply setting your status to “employed not seeking additional employment” inside of your StaffedUp account and turn off all notifications as well if you no longer wish to receive further communication. Hopefully this helps and we hope you have a wonderful day.

Thank you!

The StaffedUp Team

Is there anything I can do about this?
