I'd love to install Fdroid or even Google Play so I can get apps like Moshidon or Liftoff to work on my windows machine.

Ideas?

Yes, you can! I got WSA working with Google Play by using this script here:

Check this out: https://github.com/MustardChef/WSABuilds He makes custom builds of WSA including ones with Google apps and removed Amazon stuff. Also has a nice guide for installing.
