  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

The amount of “If you vote for either party you are rewarding the capitalist genociders” going around the “lefty” communities here and elsewhere is off the charts. Good to hear a voice of reason instead of “leftists, don’t vote” propaganda.

I would bet most of those voices originate from a dark room filled with instigators and rabble rousers located in an adversarial nation.

The only genocide they care about is the one they can use to get fascism elected.

We're at the point where disagreeing with innocents being killed by state terrorism is not acceptable. That's the kind of thinking that will ensure nothing will ever get better, well done!

Why would I stop acting on my morality?
Why would I listen to you when you ask me to stop doing so?

I think killing innocent people is wrong. So do you. But I'm the only one consistent about it, because I maintain saying that in the face of it happening. Maybe you could give it a try.

You can ask me to sacrifice children I don't know from a country I have never met for the good of people that you feel closer to, because they are people more like you, in your country, until you are hoarse. It won't move me. This is because my moral standards are that innocent people are innocent, no matter where they are. I'm not willing to trade some people for other people just because of my personal biases towards the groups I have been part of.

I act on the principle that killing innocent people is wrong. You don't disagree with that, really. I'm not sure you even know what you're angry about.

People pushing for third party right now are either dumb or indifferent to Trump winning. They want the chaos, they’re fascinated by the flight of that molotov cocktail.
