ive been playing bassoon for 6 years already and its my main subject at my school (i cant quit it bcs ill have to switch schools if i do and thats not an option). i absolutely hate playing it tho, its such a pain to sit down and practice, my bassoon teacher hates me and always gets mad at me for not practicing enough, telling me i have a lot of potential and ill waste it by not playing but i just cant bring myself to, i feel sick whenever i pick it up and to make all of this even worse i got a super expensive bassoon that idk if ill be able to sell. what should i do in this situation, how do i start loving it or atleast not hating it?
