Fabrizio De André was a legendary italian songwriter, born in Genova, Italy, in February 18th, 1940.

He started his career in 1961 with Nuvole Barocche, and would proceed to release 13 album in his 40 year career. Collaborating with other important people, such as Ivano Fossati for 1996 Anime Salve, Massimo Bubola for 1980 L'indiano and Francesco De Gregori for Volume 8. Fabrizio De André rearranged a lot of songs into italian, with some prime examples being Giovanna D'Arco and Via Della Povertà. His album Non Al Denaro, Non All'Amore, Né Al Cielo was entirely inspired from The Anthalogy Of Spoon River by Edgar Lee Master. Fabrizio De André was legendary, in his songs he talked about emarginated people in society, giving voice to people without one. Cancer got him in January 11th, 1999, at only 59 years old. We are near to his 26th death anniversary and his 85th birthday. Rest in peace, Faber

P.S. Faber was the nickname for Fabrizio De André, given to him by his friend Paolo Villaggio, due to Fabrizio's obsession with the Faber Castell pencils.

I am looking for some old hippie-ish songs for my wedding. Specifically the mother son dance and a good song to walk down the aisle to. To give you a feel for the vibe, Landslide by Fleetwood Mac is the father daughter song, Harvest Moon my Neil Young is the first dance, and we have more than a few Grateful Dead songs for the wedding party. We have a live Jazz band playing so if you think an instrumental version is really good, we can do it! I’m looking for something with this vibe but also sweet/sad/soulful. Thank y’all for your suggestions!

Where would the name “Archie Ray” be put in the vast genre world of music… Hi 👋, I personally play any instrument but mostly love the vibration of the guitar, I’m open to any sound, hard, metal, mellow and funky but I’m open to hear where you’d put me just based off my name? If you saw me.. where would you see me? I’m a deeply “professional” guitar player and a versatile piano, trumpet, drums and clarinet player. I just want to hear the word of music fans out there.
