For as long as I can remember I’ve never been able to listen to Out of Touch by Daryl Hall & John Oates without feeling the strongest sense of nostalgia and downright sadness. I don’t know if this song is in some way connected to some long-lost memory of mine, or if the lyrics subconsciously remind me of something, or what. Great song, but it makes me heartsick listening to it.
