I Heart You ❤️

This rose-breasted grosbeak (Pheucticus ludovicianus) looks like he has a big heart on his chest, doesn't he?

These birds are part of the family Cardinalidae, the same family as cardinals. Many species in this family are colorful.

You know, the photographs that I post here are not quite a vivid as the same photographs that I post at my pixel's gallery, because here, I reduce the size of the photos and usually make a slight reduction in the quality of the photos to make them easier to load.

@[email protected] That's a spectacular photo Swede! Yes, indeed, I can see the heart, on its chest. ♥️

I was unaware of the Rose-breasted Grosbeak being in the Cardinalidae family. I knew of the 4 types of Cardinals 1) Northern 2) Desert 3) Vermillion 4) Red-crested.

Now that you mentioned it, I can TOTALLY see similar traits or physical characteristics, in comparison, to the Cardinal.

How wonderful to learn something new today about one of the most popular bird species, in the United States. Awesome
