... until he gets his act together, I would strongly recommend crating him at night. This seems to be a contest of wills - and you have to win this one.

It's not all that bad, Ben is over 15 years old, and I pretty much let him have his own way as long as it is safe. He hasn't been in a crate since he was a pup. Hmmm ... the only crate we have now is Charlie's and he knows it belongs to him. Besides crating him won't silence won't him, he will be heard. ๐โ
