Rubbing alcohol also doesn't fix outside booboos. It causes tissue damage, slows healing, and it's use for cleaning wounds hasn't been recomended for years. It's still good for sterilzing stuff or unbroken skin. Just don't pour it in a wound.

So I guess it actually does have much the same effect on inside booboos as it does on outside booboos. It feels like its helping but really it's just doing more damage and slowing your recovery.

Yup, same thing with hydrogen peroxide. Both were found to slow wound healing and provide negligible benefit. Now the recomendation is to wash around (not in) the wound with a mild soap and rinse the wound out well with plain water. Then, if you really want, hit it with some antibiotic ointment and cover it.

Saline rinse is another recommended method of cleaning a wound.

I mean, you can stick sterile saline basically anywhere you want on or in the human body.

Ah yes, the Trump method of health care. But seriously don't drink rubbing alcohol. You're supposed to inject it.

No no no that’s bleach and concentrated UV light.

Per the poster he passed on the way to the stage.
