Originally when I signed up for proton unlimited they advertised it as being a student discounted plan not a coupon… Now I go to renew my membership, and it's suddenly a coupon and not a plan anymore…. My account shows it as being a plan not a discount or coupon. It shows it as being a discounted plan. This is what is pushing me away from their service. Now going back to a free plan and using Mullvad VPN once again.

Well this reddit user knew it was a once use coupon. Maybe you misread something? Also I can’t find anything to do with a student discount / coupon on their site

Where do they advertise a student discount? I can find no mention of one anywhere, except for websites stating clearly that proton offers no student discount.

This is a stupid post. Why was it so important to tell us all you can't read and don't like paying bills.

If you tell us the exact situation, I'll do my best to help you with the team. Of course you can contact them through their webform here: https://proton.me/support/contact

Out of curiosity, why would you post this here? This is more of a Proton support community than anything. Not really meant for accusations of the company to my knowledge. Also, I've been using Proton for ~3 years now and had never heard of a student discounted plan.
