I had a dream a couple of nights ago in which I heard an alarm going off but my phone was malfunctioning and the alarm wouldn't stop. Then I realized that it was my actual alarm and woke up.

I have also had some dreams in which I had to use the bathroom and I thought that I had actually woken up to do that, but I was dreaming.

It's a pretty common dream. I've had mornings where I "woke up" several times before deciding to stay awake hours before my alarm went off

I think I had a few like that. But I also had one where I had dirt in my mouth for some reason, so I was spitting it out. But in reality, I had just spit on my own face and woke myself up.

I can't have a music alarm wake me. The last time I tried, in my dream once the music started I reached over and turned on a radio and was "boppin to the beats". I finally woke up about an hour late for work.

I've had this so often the dreams can skip time and details.

I think my desire to stay in bed takes over. I really wake up and snooze my alarm.

I dream the whole day because i also plan my day out. I wake up yadda yadda work yadda yadda, and oh look it that it's actually like 10pm so no reason to wake up right now.

If I actually snoozed my alarm I'll repeat this a few times my brain trying to convince itself it's fine to sleep more. Though if I messed up and turned off the alarm I can get screwed with this.
