Their About Us section makes me want to help them out, even if the game itself is something I feel pretty neutral about.

Well im principally a fan of romance games and i've more or less outgrown typical otome games aimed at school girls. A more mature dark fantasy setting would totally be my jam.
I suppose I exist in a weird spot. I'm an adult but when it comes to fiction, I often see "mature" as a keyword for "lots of realistic suffering that matches up to suffering that is happening in the real world and receiving lots of political focus today" or "lots of sex", and though I keep myself politically informed I personally do not enjoy the former in my fiction at all, and I find the latter personally uninteresting. My tastes probably do not promote leaving the fluff zone and moving to the "this was made mostly with adults in mind" zone. I guess that makes for diverse tastes and hopefully diverse posts :P Thanks for posting here, by the way! For what it is worth if I see otome news, I tend to post it here whether I'm interested in the game or not.
Though I'm also not Japanese and not too sure of which games were marketed at schoolgirls and which were at adult women, and I do know some of the manga I have read have been marked "josei" on Wikipedia?
Also, props for grabbing the é in the game name instead of just writing it without the diacritic!
How did you get this post to play nicely with Mastodon? When I make link posts on Mbin the body text gets wiped. I know you have a Mastodon account but clicking your name on this post on Mbin leads me to your discuss.techncs.de account. Hitting Copy link to post on your Mastodon post actually gets me a link to your post instead of kicking me to the Kickstarter page that was linked.
Oh, this post actually isn't from Mastodon 😅 I initially tried crossposting from Mastodon, but it didn't federate, so I copied the text and made a post on my lemmy account instead. Usually, I can just tag an instance on a Mastodon post and it will boost it and create a thread on there, but it didnt work with this instance :/
How is Mastodon? I have been meaning to try it. Do people talk and have conversations there, because the text limit is way longer than Twitter's, or is it basically Twitter with longer posts?
It's definitely easy to talk there, even if people are missing the quote-retweet function. I personally love the CW-feature. Makes it easy to talk about spoilers and sensitive topics
