Burning the flag is protected speech. Dont want to see it burned? Make the country less shitty
United States | News & Politics
It's true. Condemning burning the American flag is a just another form of covering your eyes or ears because you don't like what people are saying. We should both strive to improve our country, listen to protestors, and live up to the American ideals of freedom.
The country that also is still trying to eliminate its indigenous peoples has no "ideals" to live up to.
I highly recommend reading Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz - an indigenous people's history of the US.
Wdym? Aren't we living up to our nation's ideals of genocide? /s
She cars more about US flagg being burned than Palestinians being killed.
🤡🤡🤡
God damnit stop supporting genocide too. Don't be antisemitic but also genocide is bad too
So she lasted how many days before disappointing me? Four.
To be fair, this was already her modus operandi, she just has the spotlight for it now.
So much better than the other guy, though. Writing in a candidate will be fun for some people, but I'm choosing to vote for someone who 1) can win and 2) won't strip away freedoms in the name of religion.
Whataboutism adds nothing to the conversation and fails to address the criticism being discussed.
Fucking hope this site is in no way representative of the voting population, because Jesus Christ.
That, or all the "I'm totally a progressive that suddenly learned about Gaza last week and refuse to vote for Biden because of it" astroturfing is shifting their gears to Harris.
They were looking for a new unified attack vector, and then she went and said this and they realized they could just keep doing the same old tired shit.
Reminder: if you give a single shit about Palestine or the people who live there, you will do everything you can to prevent Trump and down ballot Republicans from winning. At all costs.
If you can't see the forest for the trees, you're gonna find out real quick what happens in Gaza when Trump wins. Assuming you actually give a shit about those people and aren't just using them as political pawns to try to change the sentiment regarding Kamala Harris.
Great job justifying your vote for a pro-genocide candidate! You used a lot of words and did a nice whataboutism on Trump instead of focusing on how she's going to continue to support Israel no matter what they do just like Joe did. 🚩
She's going for that undecided vote. She figures everyone that fears Trump will vote for her regardless (not an outrageous idea) so she needs to secure all the right-leaning individuals that know trump is a psychopath.
Politicians gonna politics.
There is no undecided vote, Kamala is competing with leftists who are abstaining or voting third party. Nobody on Trump's camp would vote for Kamala ever anyways, so if she pulled left she would get more voters, not lose them.
The DNC is fine with losing, though, so she won't.
Condemning a country for carrying out a genocide ≠ antisemitism. God I'm tired of doublespeak always winning.
Big oof.
I support the right to peacefully protest
She wants to change our profile picture or whatever empty performative gesturing fits her agenda, doesn't she?
Please don't post pictures of screenshots. Copy and paste the text.
Sorry, I'll edit the body with it.
Common Kopala L.
So, it begins.
US History repeating itself, ad nauseum.
Omfg
Daily reminder that ACAB.
Fuck you, Kamala.
Standard presidential strategy (pre-trump) is to "run to the center" once the primaries are over. Yes this is disappointing, but I'll judge her by her actions. She also didn't attend Netanyahu's speech, but that could just as easily have been travel logistics or it could have been a snub to Netanyahu who is courting Trump and the R's.
She's not my favorite candidate, but she's miles better than Biden, and Biden's a light-year better than Trump.
