That did always bother me a little bit, that daggers often had super high critical modifiers and damn near nothing else does. What hurts more, a knife in the kidneys, or an 80 pound slab of cast iron slamming your spine in half?
I absolutely adore the variety of weapon styles and animations in this series. It is incredibly satisfying to see the unique animations, one-handed, two-handed, or dual-wielding!
I was just playing Elden Ring, and if you critical with a halberd on an enemy shorter than your character (like the Vulgar Militia) then you shish-kebab the bastard into the ground with your polearm. Highly recommend.
colossal swords similarly just fuckin demolish the smaller opponents. It's funny.
Works with swords as well, or at least with new light greatswords from the DLC
