I've gone past it a fair few times, pretty much ever since I moved to Melbourne in 2018 and all I've ever heard is "omg we NEED to go to the anglers!!!" "How have you never been to the anglers???" "You HAVE to go to the anglers", but they flooded before I managed to go. But I'll finally go on Monday, and see what all the hoo-haa is about

I think it's just been running for a long time, so lots of older folks have pleasant memories about when they went when they were a child back in 1986. I went on Monday, it was okay. They've made it very self serve style - the only thing the waiters do is bring your food and some water. You're on your own for ordering (done through a QR code), utensils (in a box at your table), and most other things. Also really fucking hard to flag one down if you have questions about the menu
