Would not recommend installing arch from scratch. It literally took me multiple hours and I still need to set my software up but I'm happy to get off fedora.

Just curious, what made you switch from Fedora to Arch?

Could not for the life of me get steam to find where it's own directory is. I couldn't install any games because of it and that was cause enough for me to switch. Thought I'd be a good learning experience and would be better for steam considering their own OS is based on it.

Took me a few tries to get the hang of Arch, but it was the only distro to have the drivers to my specific drawing tablet.

Once you installed it a few times, you get the hang of it. Especially when you know which sections of the guide to skip, which software you'll use etc.

LFS is much worse, it took me several months.
