What do you have against obesity?
Metabolic syndrome is the modern plague affecting the world, causing lower quality of life, and worse health outcomes for many people. Almost everybody has a loved one who is suffering from metabolic syndrome. If we can improve their quality of life, it is a net positive for humanity
I lost ten kilos last year and was super proud.
Then life got harder, and then I injured my knee skiing, and then I went on an eat pray love type trip for a month, so I gained eight back since October.
But I'm glad to say I lost 5kg since the beginning of last month and am (nearly) back on track. The mild calorie deficit is going really well and I don't feel deprived at all, which I'm truly happy with. Only gotta keep it up longer this time! :)
I was basically at my goal weight until I had a medical issue that kept me sedentary for several months, during which time I also stress-ate. I am now better and moving around more and I am remembering how good it feels to be active and appreciating it more this time. If you can move, go move. Not being able to, sucks!
