I generally try lots of weird or indie games, but for some reason, I wasn't very attracted to this one. Interesting to see it getting such good reviews.
Popularity boost due to being marketed/published by a popular youtuber. The game is very good though! I was initially put off by the publisher due to being wary of it being a gimmick but picked it up after the reviews landed.
It's like Halo 2 meets Halo 3.
You can either love or hate dunkey's style, but the fact that he published this game should mean something. Picking this up as soon as I can, it looks gorgeous as well.
I like it a lot, though I'm personally not so big on puzzle games so it wasn't as incredible to me as what some reviewers have been saying. But it is a very impressive game, and with the amount of "optional" content there is in the game, I think it's worth the money.
A LOT of positive reviews for this one, including a 10/10 for Destructoid. https://www.destructoid.com/reviews/review-animal-well/
Definitely interested in it, just not sure if I should pick the Limited Run Physical version.
I remember wanting this game after seeing a preview Dunkey posted of it a while back and now I can't for the life of me remember what, exactly, was shown off that got me excited for this because it's not something I would typically go for.
It's SO GOOD. I reached... An ending, but there's clearly more to do. There are at least two puzzles I'm aware of that I know I don't have all the clues for, and there are several interesting things beyond that which I don't even understand the purpose of yet.
Environmental Station Alpha tier game.
