I use tailscale app from Fdroid. It works for me since over 2 years. Since the last update the app dont start. The app crashes on every start. I use a custom rom iodeos.

What can I do?

You should be able to downgrade versions in the fdroid app by tapping into the details page of tail scale and then going down to versions and you should be able to downgrade from there. If you can get any kind of crash logs or anything before downgrading, you may wish to submit an issue report so that they can fix it.

What I would do:

  • downgrade to lasf working version (you probably have to uninstall and tben manuslky srlect the version to re-install)

  • check if this bug was ile reported on the source repository of the app. If not do it yourself

  • wait for new version to come out. Check changelog to see if your issue was corrected, and if so install it. Otherwise wait for following version

In the end if a previous version of the app worked, you can keep it, no reason to upgrade...

The app is going trough a redesign, for some reason it does that

The devs asked the maintainer to pause publishing for now, when the redesign will be done the new versions should work

Same for me, I had to install the google play one :/.
I'm using graphenOS.
There were some logs but hadn't had the time to document them.
