Bit of a rant, but what's the point of being able to follow my friends on Spotify if it doesn't make it easier to collaborate? For example when I tap "Invite" in the Blend feature, it just brings up the default system share sheet and I have to send the invite via text or a messaging app. Why doesn't it give me the option to quickly invite my friends who I've already added on Spotify? Isn't that the whole point of creating a "social" music platform? If I have to manually invite them via text message each time instead of being able to quickly select their profile from my list of Spotify friends, why even bother following each other at all? I think Spotify's social features need a major overhaul. So many people use it and yet Spotify refuses to take advantage of the loyal userbase to create a truly engaging social experience.
