Hi community :)

I am a complete newbie, last time i build a pc was with my father around 2004, so long time.

Been using an Legion 5 Pro for the last 2 years, but now i want to finally build a SFF, i got lucky and could get my hands on a 4070FE for MSRP, they are always sold out here in germany!

I'm looking at SFF cases for months now, but i still feel super overwhelmed (my lack of experience doesn't help) by the sheer amount of options.

ROG STRIX X670E

Ryzen 7800x3d

RTX 4070 FE

I don't want to go hypersmall, just small enough without sacrificing too much.

My wants / needs:

-I want to be able to fit a large cpu cooler (overkill maybe, but i like it)

-horizontal case / horizontal gpu position

-ideally a case that favors the airflow of the FE flowthrough design

-I want to be able to fit additional case fans on either the bottom or top of the case for additional cooling (not a must but would be nice)

-all in all very good (air)cooling while being as quiet as possible are my top priorities

As stupid as it may sounds but i don't to play games on ultra settings. I'm in it for longevity, i play all games on either medium or high settings without ray tracing, 1440p and i cap the framerate most of the time. I want to keep this system for a long time once its finished. The whole system doesn't have to work as hard, as a result its a bit quieter and cooler in my theory. correct me if i am wrong here. Game graphics got so good in the last years, they always look kinda super good to me.

Would be great if you guys could help me out choose the right case :)

cheers
