I'm glad he told him to shut the fuck up, but I think he left some of his most powerful arguments on the table. The UK ranks 8th in the world for cumulative carbon emissions per capita, a metric Guyana doesn't even rank in at all.
(Interestingly though, in looking up some data for this response I was genuinely shocked to see how low the UK's current emissions are (4.4 tonnes per person in 2022 to Guyana's 4.3). That's literally 1/3 of the average Canadian yearly emissions. I know offshoring of manufacturing hides a lot of actual lifestyle emissions but I still thought it was interesting.)
