You're sharing your thoughts about the real life club online.

I was thinking about how soon we potentially won't be able to believe any photo, video or text we see online is "real". Talking in real life to people will be the only way to build trust.

Have you met people in real life? Good luck.

Get out of here dude. You're not following what I'm saying: with AI we won't know if the person we're talking to online is a person. We won't know what other people believe or want based on digital media. We already don't to a degree, we self select content we want to see, we create our bubble. People don't like riding the bus, people don't like going to the DMV, because then you're interacting with people from every background with lots of weird ideas and uncomfortable personalities. Plenty of people flat out suck. But I think being socially uncomfortable is both overinflated as a fear and a requirement for making real life change, instead of just posting.

DnD fortnighly in the local game shop, Edinburgh. 5+ years of strangers, mostly dads/middle aged guys. Would really appreciate some diversity. DMs of 20+ experience, noobs very welcome. Time wasters welcomed it seems too, but wanting to add to the team for reals

That's great!

One time I went with a friend to the local game shop for a magic the gathering thing and got crushed by a 13 year old

Do you think we should be allowed to talk about it on local morning news shows

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

Dude, if you think the morning news is real, then you really gotta re-evaluate your commitment to real life club.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

I didn't say morning news is real, I asked if commenter thought we should talk about it there.

Did you ever see Dan Deacon on the morning show? Check it out

I was just monkeying around. I have seen this, but I totally just rewatched it, great performance.

I like it! Should we settle for a common design or go wild all over the world ?

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago
