You know what? Good for Ben. He's not going to be prioritized in the squad anyways and he probably has other things that are of higher priority in life than international ball. Why waste time?

Good, I'm very happy about that. I know it's probably an unpopular opinion, but fuck the FA and the whole England merry-go-round. It's failed, it's not even fit for purpose. I don't blame any player who didn't want to be part of that shit show.
But even without that, the friendlies are horrible and I can't bear having to endure an interlull for them. It's drivel.
And don't get me started on tournaments. Who wants to watch our best players get driven into the ground so we can scrape into the latter stages to be embarrassed yet again? At least we get to watch a decent game here and there, unlike friendlies.

Southgate needs to sort this out man, apologise or wtv, we need him in the England squad.
It honestly sounds like the whole thing has been blown gigantically out of proportion and all because Southgate failed to handle a situation appropriately. Now England is without one of its best defenders and Southgate continues in his failure to take responsibility.
