It's easy to jump to conspiracy theories, but I think a lot of people don't understand the mental stress of being a litigant - especially the central witness. It looks like Barnett was subject to (mastodon.online)

It's easy to jump to conspiracy theories, but I think a lot of people don't understand the mental stress of being a litigant - especially the central witness. It looks like Barnett was subject to multiple days of deposition questioning, which is very stressful.

I think it is a disservice to mental health to assume Barnett's passing must be nefarious.

I had a similar but different reaction. Corporate greed killed Mr. Barnett.

@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] I think calling it a conspiracy theory and blaming "mental health" is making a distinction without a difference... Putting someone in a stressful situation to get them out of the picture is a go-to for corporate America.
