Leveraging my #privacy and #ai friends. A super talented and capable undergraduate student graduating at the end of the quarter reached out to me asking for career routes forward, prior to (or perhaps instead of) law school, that would allow for the exploration of #dataprivacy, #compliance, and AI #policy.

I know about IAPP and their training and certification programs, but didn't immediately have any additional resources off the top of my head. Thoughts? Tips? Thanks!

It's easy to jump to conspiracy theories, but I think a lot of people don't understand the mental stress of being a litigant - especially the central witness. It looks like Barnett was subject to multiple days of deposition questioning, which is very stressful.

I think it is a disservice to mental health to assume Barnett's passing must be nefarious.

Arizona house moves bill forward to end voting by mail.

Arizona senate moves forward bill to end voting centers (allowing people to vote in any voting location instead of designated polling locations).

Down ballot elections matter. Getting consumed in one issue only means you can’t see the forest for the trees.

Good news is we have a Governor who will veto this nonsense.
