Maybe a bit doomer but when talking about channeling energy into alternatives to electoral politics in the imperial core it's hard not to feel like you're hyping up someone with a broken back walking up to try and deadlift eight hundred pounds

I spend so much time downplaying myself I don't know how little or much I'm doing irl at this point.

Fuck bombing a Walmart, there's food inside. If we ever get around to firebombing capitalists it'll need to be the mouthpieces first, news stations.

That said i only do it in my dreams right now. But what dreams...

Also firebombing the average Walmart would burn the vestibule and maybe the built in McDonald's. They don't have many windows. If you want to be inside a building you firebomv it could work but would also be an extra level of stupid.

Edit: Also if your first target is news stations in 2024 you're a bit outdated. Telecom stations, and also I'd hit the military nearby at the same time.

Not sure i want to go against the military lol, first, not liking the strat of bringing a molotov to a gun fight. Secondly if you start blowing those guys up they'll definitely forget we're fellow citizens and on the same side when the govt sends them out to quell the "riots"

If you bomb media outlets the military is probably gonna get involved regardless

Indeed they might, officially. After the local police fail to be enough. But one involved, the grunts actually with their fingers on the trigger have thoughts too.

Just look at bushnell for an (extreme) example. Last thing you need is to remove guys like that from the equation. You want solidarity and men following orders because of an attack on their own? Not to mention an easy rallying cry for our allies not in green (many who are poor and likely to have enlisted family) to get behind?

Because adventurism suck. I've never hid my alternative: get an advanced degree so you can work in the Chinese research lab developing the Magnetic Anomaly Detector for the PLAN ASW helicopter modernization program.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 8 months ago

I've been told adventurism at this point in time is bad.

I really need to go to a protest though.

Lmao

But the answer is to join and participate in an org

The effectiveness of electoralism and violence and boycotts and strikes is entirely dependent on whether they're part of an organized strategy or not. None of these tactics are inherently good or bad without context.

To be fair: I think voting has its place as a supplementary activity. After all, the ruling class is telling on themselves with their gutting of the voting rights act or looking for sneaky loopholes like election day being on a working day: hoping the poor will just be too busy to vote, especially at more regional or local levels of a country.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

The problems with voting are more the mentalities of:

  1. All I need to do is vote
  2. I have to vote for a Democrat because the other guy is worse, even if the Democrat is doing awful things too

Voting is probably the easiest form of political participation and it's definitely the form that gets the most press coverage. Leftists can take advantage of those things, as shown by the "uncommitted" votes going on now.

This twitter user is right. I am going to do what they suggested and to be sure that i get Leftist PointsTM i will share my efforts on every social media on earth.

If you don't livestream yourself firebombing a Walmart on Twitter you're a fucking poser

Doing nothing and being a lazy doomer lefty is the same as voting lets be real

If anyone was going to fedposting it should be more targeted and localized.

Apropos of nothing, People have addresses.

We're still pretty much all going to vote. Electoralism is a decent strategy if you only think about it one day a year, rather than put all of your time into thinking about it.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 8 months ago

We are? I dunno if I can get my citizenship in timez especially without moving to maerica

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 months ago

[–] [email protected] 6 points 8 months ago
