yeah but this is do nothing with guilt
Think about it like this: Stress is bad for you. It degrades your ability to do things effectively and degrades your physical and mental health if it's too consistent. Therefore removing stress is a necessary and important activity. Do what you enjoy, at least sometimes.
But I enjoy so many things! Which one should I pick? What if I end up picking something I like but I'm not good at and end up more stressed?
(ends up on Lemmy)
If being on Lemmy isn't doing it then make a random selection system of some kind. Draw activities from a hat, use a digital wheel, roll a die and assign activities to each number etc. Or just commit to doing the next enjoyable activity that crosses your mind.

I don’t know… posting the secret panel seems wrong. The secret panel to me seemed to be a concession that his comic would be posted on here, but would entice people to go to his website, which seems fair to me
I didn'teven know it had a secret panel until now
I've never even thought that it was a possibility. They all seemed entirely complete.
It's just a bonus, like the smbc votey.
Or so you thought!
Yep, all these comics have an additional panel on the source web site. They slowly appear after a few seconds, specifically to drive engagement.
I find them really annoying; I have to click through and piss about because... website traffic. I get it, I just don't like it.
Time to lie in bed, be anxious, or just sleep.
You are here.
If you need leisure time, you need leisure time. That's usually not productivity time.
Think of leasure time as time for you to do what you tell yourself you want to do.
(I have this habit a lot. It sucks.)
Replace the last one with... PLAY BALATRO ONE MORE TIME. That game is crack, and itches my ADHD so good.
Eyup. That's a personal attack for sure. And boy do it hurt
That's why I spend so much time on Lemmy. Can't think of anything else to do. Might as well let my consciousness babble in useless commentary.
I think the only real solution to this is to get all those things you want and should do and make them habits you do without much thought at a specific time of day or week. Starting the habit might still be hard but after that all those thoughts have no space any more where they can bother you all the time.
