On me at least. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

On the other hand, flirting blindness is a thing I also have, so it would probably be even more effective to reverse pickpocket me a slip of paper with a gamertag on it.

Hey autistic girl, want to have sex and then not interact again until we both want sex again?

My partner and I do this pretty much every day

Is doing different things in the same room something people with ADHD usually enjoy? I didn't know

It scratches a social itch, without any of the mental energy drain. It's more of an Autism thing, but definitely overlaps with some introverted ADHD people.

I love being around people, I just....don't like people.

I think it might be more of an introverted thing happily enjoying someone else's presence without interacting in any way or very little. You get peace of being free to do what you want without being alone.

Although I am both introverted and have ADHD, so take that as you will.

I get this. Family doesn't always get that I'm happy they are around even if we are in different parts of the house, and actually alone makes me a bit down.

it's not that we enjoy it but it helps being productive if someone is also being productive around you. see: body doubling.

(unrelated but yes we also enjoy it.)

Alternatively, my Autism side enjoys (silent) company for a different reason. Just the feeling of someone being there is kinda soothing, provided they understand that conversation really is optional in that situation.

Also, if you use it with purpose as a motivation to complete a task, they have a term for it; Body Doubling.

"Parallel play" means something very different in the swinging community lol

Will definitely be using this later
