Alright I'll try that later
Also work your jaw in a big yawning motion
Also flap your arms
That's what it's all about!
this may not work for you, but it always did for me. i tilt my head so that the ear affected is pointed towards the earth as much as i can, and then i bounce on my toes like i'm losing my shit at a concert in the standing room only/general admission area in front of the stage.
it looks insane, it feels insane, it's tiring, stupid, but it has never not worked for me after like a 2-3 repetitions of a 30 second bounce session.
Didn't work :/
I'm going to see if this doesn't clear up on it's own otherwise I'll have to see a doctor. FUCK
I do something similar with the tilted head, but then with it tilted I'll kind of headbang up and down with one leg on the side of the bathtub or other kind of lifted position
I've been banging my head all night now and nothing. I think it's the wax in the ear and I'm going to have to get it removed, unless this resolves itself tomorrow with a night of laying on my side.
If you get to see an ENT or general physician don't have them flush out your ears with water. Dry suction only. If you can get antibiotic ear drops and some swimmer's earplugs for the shower, it should be easier to maintain.
But I've struggled with it and the antibiotics are an important step for treatment, at least for me. Bad ear solidarity, comrade. I hope yours get better.
I suspect it's some of the hydrogen peroxide trapped behind the ear wax and I think the wax is compacted :/ sucks because now my hearing is worse in my left ear
Update: Feels a bit better like some of it broke up a little, we'll see it how goes tomorrow.
Sounds like you've done most of what you can. For me it would sometimes resolve if I laid down with that ear downwards, or if I shook my head looking down straight at the ground (rather than ear facing the ground). Hopefully you can find relief soon.
I used to swim daily and when it got really bad i would lay down, my loaded ear facing down, and hum or chew gum. The release....ahh so goooooo-
