Tuition was a relatively small part of my total school costs.

Absolutely they will. The education system, like everything else in this country, is about taking as much away from the customer as you possibly can.
Yeah not enough people are mad at the universities for inflating prices to soak up those sweet sweet government funds which goes hand in hand with the student debt crisis. And now the universities need those funds and there’s no way to rewind without destroying important institutions.
Those doctors won't charge any less for their services. This is just another handout to the wealthy.
Most doctors don't make enough to be in the class of people who are ruining the world
At this point, doctors being rich is an out of date stereotype from before today's rich guys screwed us, and the doctors, out of the good economy we would've had. This is the fundamental misunderstanding holding the idea back from mainstream audiences, they seem to believe "eat the rich" means literally to destroy anybody who makes as much as a doctor or lawyer makes, forgetting these are simply further examples of often abused workers, same as the person cobbling shoes, welding, cooking, whatever.
"Eat the rich" is pointlessly vague anyways. "Unionize" is just one word and gets a lot more done. Doctors are already nearly in a union.
I didn't say they were rich. I still can't afford to go to the doctor though, so the distinction isn't significant to my experience of not having medical care.
But they are not wealthy nor the ones deciding that cost
You did say doctors were rich. Otherwise, who is "this is just another handout to the wealthy" referring to? And like the other commenter mentioned, doctors aren't usually the ones setting their own costs.
