Have you experienced a recent dramatic increase in robocalls in the last 48 hours or so?

In the last two days I've received 10 robo calls.. I know they are robo calls because they are all from my area code (which nobody I talk to uses) and all different numbers. No voice mail, no texts.

This is fairly rare, I usually get one or two a month, but not 10 in 48 hours.

Not in a huge inconvenience, none of them get past Google voice screening, I just see the missed call notifications constantly and it's annoying.

My Google Pixel is doing an extremely good job of filtering anything unwanted

I use an app that pretty effectively blocks anyone who isn't on my contact list, I haven't called/texted prior, or who doesn't call 3x in 10 minutes in case of emergency.

I get zero robo calls anymore.

A non-FOSS solution is https://www.truecaller.com/. It's super popular out here in India, works great.

Nothing lately, but it seems to come in waves. Something weird that has started in the last couple months is where I'll get two numbers calling me simultaneously. Sometimes it'll happen 2-3 times in a row before stopping and never leaving a message.

It comes in waves. It will be (832)xx-xxxx for example. We have a landline at the business and 95% of our calls are spam.

I applied for a mortgage a few weeks ago, and ever since I've been getting literally 40+ spam calls a day. It's insane. They all get blocked, so it's not anything I really have to deal with, but my missed calls list is just a sea of red "likely spam" callers.

I got a phone number from rural Montana. As the area code. So I know if anything comes from that area code it's 100% spam. It's made ignoring calls very easy.

But yeah it's super annoying to have the missed call log filled with spam calls. Honestly phone numbers are dying. I don't think we need them anymore

I haven't gotten any for a few months. Probably a single firm making lots of calls and you just happen to be in whatever database they bought

Quite the opposite for me. I used to get a robocall twice daily.

My last rpbocall was in may.
