While we will try our best, lemmy.ml/c/transgender is far more open to the fediverse, and also to trolls. One of the site admins of lemmy.ml, nutomic, is also a transphobe, while hexbear is ran mostly by trans people and has a very active trans community.
And to be clear, lost custody of their transgender teen they were refused to accept as transgender in order to appeal to a false god people like them made up to better control the populace that they will likely never meet.
Imagine claiming that God would create a universe chalked full of the worst things imaginable and that you must ignore all of the torture pain and horror for the chance of being with them.

Right, and the child was removed from their care because they tried treating her eating disorder by sending her to a religious counselor to convince her she's a boy.
according to the arguments Christians themselves use in court, bigotry is a core religious value of theirs. they deserve no sympathy
