The rumour mill had claimed this would be the last regularly scheduled H set service, although that didn't end up being the case. In fact, when we left southern cross and arrived into Geelong, the conductor actually said over the intercom that we were onboard the last H set service. However It seems that at the last minute Vline decided to swap out the N sets on a later service with H sets for whatever reason. But it seems nobody actually got the memo about that because there were a whole 4 people on board when my train back to the city passed it at Marshall
