Could we get a better source than fucking trtworld?
Among younger Americans, and along political lines, divisions are more prominent. Almost half of those surveyed aged 18-29, 49%, say Israel is committing genocide, with 24% disagreeing and 27% uncertain.

I said in another thread that the pro-Israel lobby clearly doesn't understand just how badly this "war" is costing Israel politically. You can't go murdering tens of thousands of people and starving hundreds of thousands more, from a position of impunity, and then expect that people won't care. If Israeli leadership like Netanyahu and Gvir aren't held accountable for the genocide they're enacting, either internationally or internally, Israel is going to come to be defined by their actions.
I hope y'all are right, but I doubt it.. It seems like gaslighting works just fine so far in politics.
I think you're confusing an informal opinion poll taken by the media outlet with official polling numbers. It would have been better to list the polls being cited, but in general most Americans want to see an immediate cease-fire. I'll keep my eyes open for more data
Including other causes of death... Such as not having hospitals due to being bombed?
That's even worse.
The number of people facing possible starvation in the Gaza Strip in the coming weeks is the largest share of a population at risk of famine identified anywhere since a United Nations-affiliated panel created the current global food-insecurity assessment 20 years ago.
“The rigor, scale and speed of the destruction of the structures necessary for survival, and enforcement of the siege, surpasses any other case of man-made famine in the last 75 years,” said Alex de Waal, an expert on humanitarian crises and international law at Tufts University who wrote “Mass Starvation: The History and Future of Famine.”

How would you feel if people in designated safe zones carrying a white flag get shot?
Just to make the two things separate I'll make separate comment for this.
Why it matters what you or I care:
We cannot know what other people feel the only tool we know is called empathy.
Having emotions based on facts is not necessarily bias. If what's happening is revolting it is a natural and I'd say positive way of going about things by acting on this feeling by trying to end whatever is causing the feeling.
Anybody here care to tell me the general feeling among the civilians in Gaza towards Hamas?
Do the civilians think they are in the midst of a genocide being committed by Israel?
Look buddyboy you asked how the people in gaza feel, my response was to ask you how you'd feel in their place, describing one of the many atrocities Happening around and to civilians in gaza. If this is your reaction I honestly don't know why you even asked in the first place.
Would you take nytimes as a serious source that cites the Israeli military?.
The Israeli military identified the three hostages it mistakenly killed in Gaza on Friday as Yotam Haim and Alon Shamriz, taken from Kibbutz Kfar Aza during the Hamas-led assault on Oct. 7; and Samer Talalka, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Am.
It's not behind a paywall for me, sorry for that. But I have to ask, if you are aware of these kinds of incidents why did you ask for proof?
The incident I originally thought about, the hostages were not shot in a safe zone as far as I can tell
Israeli Intelligence Has Deemed Hamas-Run Health Ministry's Death Toll Figures Generally Accurate
According to the Ministry of Health, which reports to Gaza’s Hamas-led government, at least 27,500 civilians have been killed and more than 63,000 wounded since Israel began military operations in response to the Oct. 7 attacks, which killed at least 1100 Israelis and left more than 250 people hostage.
Its nither a genocide nor would a ceasefire be of any use to anyone except the terrorists.
Yeah maybe the thousands of innocent women and children being indiscriminately killed would disagree... If they weren't dead.
I'm sorry but this is literally the opposite of what is true. Here is a pdf of the ICJ order finding that the charge of genocide is plausible and Israel is ordered to take measures to prevent genocide. In no way did the ICJ rule that there was not a genocide. Israel is now officially on trial for genocide.
This is some pretty effective satire, and the fact that I can't tell if you're serious makes the satire even better. You'd be a hit on 4chan.
The Zio-troll has entered the chat
ICJ says its not a genocide
This is incorrect.
LONDON — The International Court of Justice has found it is "plausible" that Israel has committed acts that violate the Genocide Convention. https://www.npr.org/2024/01/26/1227078791/icj-israel-genocide-gaza-palestinians-south-africa
