Who, or should I say “what”, wrote this article? It’s basically just two paragraphs saying that home assistant exists and it’s complicated.

Building a non-selfhosted smart home would be even more of an never-ending project since these companies tend to go bust left an right and then you're left with a pile of electronic waste and need to redo it all over and over again or am I missing something here?
