Hard disagree. The main reason we historically soak beans is to pick out any dead beans (beans that have unknown insects inside them) because those beans will float to the top, along with rinsing off dirt left on them. There is no reason to add dirt water to your beans, especially when you can use bean water to water your plants to use every part of the bean without using dirt water for no real reason. You still get plenty of oligosaccharides in your beans, any study I've seen says that the soak water takes out a negligible amount of nutrients.

Take B12. :vegan-edge:
wait, i can use bean water for my plants? Oh shit that makes a lot of sense! Is it nitrogen enriching?
i just don't soak my beans
I buy them canned like the disgusting goblin I am
Slide it out directly into a bowl, top with cumin and chili powder, microwave 3 minutes, eat with chips, still 90% can shaped. My favorite vegan recipe.
I found these refried kidney beans one time and they were the best seasoned canned bean I've ever had. Never seen them since.
Seasoned kidney beans are dope,I should get back on that
I even use the bean part of the bean
Feed the fart water to carnist for lulz
I love the farts beans give me. Keeps carnists away from me.
Fact: Vegans can't smell farts so there's no friendly fire.
