yup it's shit. everything got twice as expensive since 2020 because of the incompetent pricks who run the country. that's a £5 burger at best.

No politics please. Don't be a dick.
Well the chicken was really really really good, but I didn't get Chips and anything with it, because I was certain there was rice and a salad with it
Unlike everyone else in this thread and like most of the UK, I enjoy the odd cheeky Nandos. But yeah, you're paying a lot for the name and less so for the food. That said, it's nice to have once in a while.
Hot take but if you say online : "I've tried this brand" you will receive 100% of the time "You shouldn't have"
People are weird. I'm just as guilty at everyone else though. Most of the time if I see something I don't like, I'll leave it alone but every once in a while, my opinion is more important than everyone else's experience. 😭
Like I said the chicken was really incredibly well cooked, just the price is crazy for what it is
Can I ask what you like about it?
Literally every part of my experience having gone there 2/3 times was shite; soggy chips, overcrowded and obnoxiously loud, the chicken burger literally is no better than my local fast food joint (and a hell of a lot worse than the slightly upmarket fast food places).
Most of that could be forgiven if the prices were reasonable but they're not; I seriously struggle to see any redeeming factors or reason for it's popularity beyond the meme of "cheeky Nando's", yet there's not anything cheeky about it beyond the cheek of what they get away with!

Okay, as a Londoner, I'm spoiled with options and I can say that in terms of Peri Peri seasoning, Nandos is actually up there. In terms of being able to get food with an option of heat, Nandos is actually up there. The sunset burger is actually up there. I don't eat potatoes so I'm not your man for that. Regarding the quarter or half chicken, it's alright. As for being overcrowded and loud, isn't that because it's popular?
I'm vegetarian so there's very few places I can get spicy fast food wraps like that. Sure, I could buy the sauce and make it myself for cheaper but if that was the perfect solution then no fast food outlet would exist to begin with.
Just buy the sauce. It'll be cheaper and you can make the same sandwich/burger at home for cheaper and better.
Well I went therer to buy their Hot sauce, and make some chicken for my SO for a School project, and decided to try it out at the same time
Nandos is shit mate. Try non franchises. I can get a chicken burger twice that size and easily nicer for £5.
Nando's was amazing when I first went, twenty years ago. Huge portions, great value, really quick. It's been going downhill ever since. I'm surprised anyone still goes.
Honestly Nando's is overpriced crap.
Less likely but if you get the chance to try a Pepe's burrito they're pretty good.
Pepe's is basically a fast food version of Nando's, with better ingredients and price for the portion size. As such it's about as far as I'll stray into fast food.
God Nando's pisses me off.
So I went to try Nando’s
That was your first mistake.
I only go to Nando's to tackle hangovers. And that's mostly for the bottomless drinks. The food is OK but the best thing to do is buy the sauces at supermarkets and make the actual meal yourself. Much cheaper.
How is that not a full meal?
