If O'Brian is at the transporter controls, everything will probably be fine. If anyone else is at the controls, something will probably go wrong.
StarTrekMemes: Meme-ory Alpha
What if O'Brien is there?
You better hope he's had his Jamaican blend.
Double strong, double sweet.
Aww, how could I stay mad at that face ☺️
And never go on the holodeck, that thing is a deathtrap
"Disengage safety protocols!"
"Why do we even have those if you're just going to turn them off all the time."
I've never understood why that was even an option. It seems incredibly irresponsible for an allegedly enlightened people.
Broccoli was right!
And the good Doctor
You guys and your anti-Transporter conspiracy theories are too much. Millions of people are using the transporters safely every day, and how many transporter accidents have there been in the past 10 years? Two? Three? There hasn't even been a case of transporter psychosis in several decades, since they perfected the multiplex pattern buffers
Sure, there are accidents. But shuttlecrafts have a higher failure rate than transporters themselves. Transporting really is the safest way to travel.
Now the holodeck, on the other hand... I could go on for weeks about all the things wrong with the holodeck. How can anyone go and relax in the holodeck knowing that if something fails, it will automatically reclaim all the matter including humans?
Why did I laugh dammit
Me too man. It was really unexpected but it just the right kind of silly.
Pour one out for Cyrus Ramsey.
And Tuvix too!
