In this edition of thoughts from l_b_i, I thought I would share some “shiny” artists. As my preference in art is generally of the NSFW variety and usually BDSM themes, you can expect the same from the links. This list is in no particular order.

Endium: He hasn’t been active in a few years. His art includes both Male and Female subjects. Much of his art features living latex, and other latex suits that bind the or transform wearer. Endium is also often credited with the dimension ring or D-Ring concept. That is a portal like device that can hide limbs in a pocket dimension or portal them somewhere else. When flash was active he made many interactive and non-interactive animations. Guardian-Hawk was a frequent commissioner, so lots of stories for art featuring his characters. He also has had a “bondage war” that usually features himself or Tiemeth

Croft: Very shiny work often erotic, but not explicit, Male and Female subjects. The source of latex and binding has different sources based on the series it is part of. Some series recently include camp shine, where victims are ensnared in an abandoned summer camp in the mountains, A D&D themed set, and hellbinder, saw, but with latex.

qundium: Often features goo, liquid latex, and transformation. Warning, Watersports is a frequent theme. Artwork is a similar in style to Endium

C91: Much more pinup style than the others listed. Generally featuring Female subjects.

tempestus_vulpis: A very different take on latex. Generally Male subjects. Their art has more texture than others, The latex doesn’t have the same “painted on rubber” look of many other artists.

Any shiny artists you want to share? Should I do more of these? You can always share at [email protected] and here is a list of all the yiffit communites.

Hi, figure I'll post some here as well. Meant to do this when I saw it, but things got in the way. Anyway, enjoy a short list I may add to in the future:

  • Maëfeline - Mostly focused on the gloopy drippy living latexy stuff.
  • 100racs - Latexy bondage clothes. Mostly male focusing on nullges and chastity. Really nice detailing.
  • Evilbanana - 3D Rendering and animations, mostly of their Vaporeon character.
  • Poiuytrew - Latex clothing and a bit of pooltoy/living suit as well.

Of course, I'd also like to shill [email protected]. :P There's a few artists that post occasional latex stuff that I haven't listed here, so go check that community out. My tastes also focus on bondagy stuff, which is why most of the stuff there is bondagey. Just to clarify: If anyone wants to post some vanilla stuff over there, feel free! Even if it's just something like a fur wearing latex clothing.

I haven't seen Maëfeline before.

As at least one person will see it, so here is the list I forgot in the initial post.
ota kuwolf: wide array of themes, "trap runner" a bondage game-show, lots of bitchsuits, scifi,...
helixjack If I had to give a theme, transformation.
ravensflock Transformation and hypnosis. Works some with serathin who writes stories of the same theme. xenolugia150- deleted profile used to write a bunch of good stores for ravensflock too.
Other planned categories could be weird, rope, traditional, stories, comics.

These are some of my favorites that you haven't listed. I pretty much only browse TF content

Rakisha/Tanraak does some of the best lighting and musculature work I know of, and prefers to define shapes and contours just through how they distort the shine on top of solid colors. Also a lot of cybernetics. Masterful work all around and the kind of artist I aspire to be.

Redflare500 does a lot of shiny clothing and inanimate TFs. It's often creepy and uncanny but just enough to add to the excitement IMO.

Helixjack/Shinyhelix does a ton of goo content and is one of my older favorites. Over the last decade their art style has changed from being near Fox0808 to near Redflare.

Rhaenjarr is less on the TF side, more often does creatures that were shiny to begin with. When goo shows up it's much more viscous and weighty than most other artists' styles, and with more diffuse reflections like the material is closer to silicone. Very good with backgrounds and scene composition. Makes me wish I had more $ for commissions

Rhaenjarr is new to me I'll have to check them out, I actually mentioned Helixjack in my followup. https://yiffit.net/comment/3977548.

I am familiar with Reflare500. I was thinking of doing another post with "weird" artists, and they were one I was going to feature along with jasentamiia and dombrus and some others. These were mainly going to be non traditional / inanimate TF because I couldn't think of a better category.

If you haven't come across them, some of the TF communities around are over on pawb.social. [email protected] and [email protected] (NSFW)
