Sashimi: do I not even exist, bro?

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 hour ago

Making ceviche or sushi officially not cooking confirmed - how dare those posers call themselves sushi chefs.

Eh... why are we trying to gatekeep cooking?

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 hours ago

Yea... though President Debs would have been excellent.

[-] [email protected] 13 points 8 hours ago

Yea, it's unlikely... but pushing for it to make Trump look like a chickenshit is absolutely worth it.

Power buttons are often covered by cases and, since they're usually a weak spot for water proofing, it's more effective to have a case that fully covers the button. In-screen readers (like what I have on my Samsung A71) tend to be good enough most of the time.

Hey brother, it fucking sucks and I can only imagine how teachers and folks around you responded to you out of ignorance when, with understanding, there are excellent ways to mitigate and control your expression and thought process in a healthy manner.

I'm glad you figured yourself out and I hope things get smoother from here on out. Much love from a fellow neurodivergent - if you need to vent or talk things through we're always here and listening.

Don't! It's fucking worthless.

I'd suggest that 95% of Jira complaints are actually about corporate culture which is felt most keenly through asshole PMs trying to micromanage you through a ticketing system. It's mostly a fine piece of software - if you have a certified wizard to configure it it can be great... if you have a dummy it's going to be barely usable - but you can say the same thing about github issue tracking.

The unfortunate thing is that the teams most likely to use Jira are also the teams I most likely never want to work on.

This is a form of class warfare: it isn't the rich women - they can go out of state or country to get proper medical care if they need it... it's poor women that are bearing this awful cost.

The shaking might be an essential tremor (I have one and it's hereditary in my family). It's usually a benign condition but you should talk to your doctor in case it's something more serious as it can be related to brain tumors or other shit you really need to jump on.

There's no relation to masturbation but, hey, if you want a sex toy then buy one.

Just to clarify though, this is the same Russian institution that conscripted soldiers from their prisons - so it's not like the army can act shocked at finding "a few bad apples".

Just a sanity check here but... yall ever been mid conversation with someone and confused that they've forgotten a thing you talked about... until you realize that previous conversation took place entirely in your head?
