What the kid did in unconscionable and, IMO, unforgivable. That said, it seems like his parents were real pieces of shit and he didn’t stand much of a chance of being a functional person himself.

Honest question:

How do you make money for things like food, automobile costs, and your connected device (assuming phone)? I’m not trying to make a broader point. I am genuinely curious.

Majority of large union supports candidate who has been clearly against unions.

Makes sense.

Is her consistency an issue? What kind of nonsense headline is this?

Photon, on mobile browser, seems to “snap” to the beginning of each post when scrolling. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Long story short, my son plays Minecraft on the iPad and used some gold coins to purchase an add-on (“TNT!”) from the marketplace. Unlike other addons that work fine, this one gives a “Download Failed” error message every time he tries to install it. I can not, for the life of me, figure out where a support option is for Mojang to help resolve the issue or refund the coins. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Looking for help in solving a problem where the lower door hinge pin on my entry door keeps creeping up and causing the deadbolt to become slightly misaligned making it more difficult to lock. Reading online, I keep coming across suggestions of tightening a screw that’s supposed to lock the pin in place but my hinges don’t seem to have that screw.

Anyone have any other ideas on how to fix this problem?

He sold about 500,000 shares. He owned, apparently, 3.3% of the 17.06 million total shares of the company, meaning he had a little over 562,000 shares. He sold almost all of his shares. That doesn't exactly exude confidence in future growth, IMO.

Yankees get Jon Berti from Chi Sox, Send Ben Rortvedt to Rays

I guess they’re going all in on Austin Wells. Wasn’t Rortvedt the next big thing a year ago?

This is a roundabout way for billionaires to donate to Trump without him having to necessarily disclose everything.

Robert Reich posted this the other day and I can't help but think this is probably more accurate than anyone in the Trump org wants to admit.

I don’t want to post too much and spoil for people who haven’t watched it yet, but I can’t believe the season is already over. The table settling in the final episode is great, but the almost spiteful desire to show this is its own timeline by making some very permanent decisions seems to remove some of the layers of complexity that made the original story line so good.

So, the team and Judge lied about it being about getting someone else at bats and this being general pre-season wear and tear?

I don’t think it’s hyperbolic to say that if he goes down, the season is already over.

Anyone else remember, in the lead up to the ObamaCare vote, when the GOP used the idea of government officials (death panels) deciding who should get treatment and who should die as a fear mongering tactic?

My my my how the turns have tabled.

For the average consumer, this would help Apple and Google out more than anything. People want what they know.

On the more savvy user side and for gamers, this move would, potentially, help Linux adoption rates.

Just use Firefox.

It was to be expected, but I found Lemmy because of everything that happened, uninstalled Reddit, and now use Mastodon and Lemmy as my social media platforms of choice, so it’s a personal win.

Hopefully, as Lemmy continues to thrive, instances hold up to the pressure of growth and we see an influx of content that made Reddit so valuable to users and Reddit corporate alike.
