I like to grill on the weber and then reverse sear on the blackstone with butter and herbs to get that delicious crust.

Make sure the griddle is screaming hot!

This is a super simple recipe that I enjoy making on the Blackstone:

  • Butter both sides of each piece of bread
  • Using a cup or cookie cutter, cut out the center of the bread
  • Place on griddle at medium-high heat (place the cutout pieces on as well)
  • Crack an egg into the cutout section of the bread
  • Cook until eggs are at preferred consistency (I like over-medium)
  • Season with salt and pepper (and hot sauce) and serve - use the cutout pieces to dunk in the egg yolk

Homemade pastrami, homemade sauerkraut on caraway rye bread. I didn't take any pictures of the cook but they turned out great.

I bought this old Cat D6C to dig a pond. It was the cheapest I could find on auction. I ended up having to replace the head because of a crack, as well as the turbo.

I got the pond mostly dug, now if it would just rain.

Bag is a veto pro pac backpack. I can fix about 70% of problems around my plant without having to go to my big toolbox.

This is an older pic of my baby, she's got another 140k miles (285k total) now, and a bit rougher body.

This project has taken so long, we started right around the start of the pandemic. We knocked down the wall and made this small area (about 8' x 8') that cuts into our unfinished utility room.

I still need to finish the flooring, and add some shelves to the back of the bar, but so far its coming along. I installed a 2 faucet beer tower that is fed from the other side of the wall.

Looks solid. I like the idea of using the 2x4s on edge for the work surface.
