Lately I’ve been having dreams like this—like I’m watching muted TV with closed captions, and they’re all complete gibberish like this.

According to the tv series "Evil" - people can't read in their dreams.

The next night, however, Kristen foils the demon, who has introduced himself as George. She tapes a sign on the ceiling above her bed, and, after George slices off one of her fingers, she stares up. I've read in my dreams. It's doable, but the writing/text tends to be very unstable - if I try to go back and reread something I read just a moment ago, it will say something slightly different.
