Ich möchte als Fußgänger genauso wenig von Radfahrern bedrängt werden, wie als Radfahrer von Autofahrern. Also nehme ich als Radfahrer die entsprechende Rücksicht und fahre NICHT auf Gehwegen.

Aus der Großstadt Essen berichtend, muss ich sagen: Das käme einem vollständigen Ende des Radverkehrs gleich. Es gäbe auf jeder Alltagsstrecke immer wieder längere Abschnitte, auf denen man schieben müsste, was jeglichen Vorteil des Rades zunichte machen würden.

Kannst du da mal 2-3 Stellen in Essen nennen (ich war lange nicht da)? In Bochum ist ja fast komplett mit VZ 237/240/241 verbläut.

In meiner konkreten Situation die komplette Moltkestraße. knapp 2km länge, Hauptradroute. zu schmal als dass ein PKW unter Einhaltung der 2m Abstand überholen könnte, dafür aber teilweise mit einem Radmordstreifen ausgestattet.
Funfact: auch die Bürgersteige sind wegen parkender Autos teilweise zu schmal, als dass man schieben könnte.

Nein, man kann über Gehwege fahren, ohne Fußgänger*innen zu gefährden. Man kann aber nicht über Fahrbahnen fahren, ohne selber gefährdet zu werden.

Auch über 10-jährige will ich nicht dem Essener Straßenverkehr auf der Fahrbahn aussetzen.

Ich wollte nur auf die Widersprüche hinweisen. Geisterradeln wird ja auch verteufelt, weil es gefährlich ist (finde ich auch), während man auf vielen benutzungspflichtigen Radwegen sogar dazu gezwungen wird, weil es dort angeblich sicherer ist als auf der Fahrbahn.

Ich muss aber irgendwie mich und meine Kinder sicher von a nach b bringen - und das schaffe ich nicht auf der Fahrbahn, solange es dort so zu geht, wie aktuell.
Also habe ich drei Möglichkeiten:
a) mit Auto
b) das doppelte bis dreifache der Zeit mit ÖPNV
c) streckenweise über Gehwege

Den Druck, den die Fahrradfahrer erleben, einfach auf den nächst Schwächeren weitergeben, auf den Fussgänger.

Wenn meine Kinder auf dem 5km Schulweg 2km schieben, fahren sie gar nicht mehr Rad.

Wobei mit Rollschuhen bin ich Fußgänger, komm auch gut in Fahrt, nur mit Bremsen wird schwierig... aber ich halte ja die Regeln ein, dat is ja dat wichtigste.

Ein Tier springt dir vor das Rad, du musst schnell ausweichen und schon fällt der Kinderwagen um...
Außerdem haben Fußgänger nicht nur das Recht, dass sie nicht gefährdet werden, sie müssen sich auch angstfrei auf dem Gehweg bewegen können!

Wie ich es "liebe" als Fussgänger, wenn ich aus dem Weg geklingelt werde... "Jetzt kommen wir, weg da".
Wahrscheinlich liebt es der Fahrradfahrer auch, wenn er weggehupt wird...

Ich weiss nicht wie es anderswo ist, aber ich habe noch nie jemanden weg geklingelt, nur von hinten ein akustisches Signal mit der Bitte nen Schritt nach rechts zu gehen wenn der Fußgänger vor mir es vorgezogen hat in der Mitte des Weges zu gehen.

Wenn der Radfahrer in der Mitte der Straße fährt würde er mit recht "weggehubt" werden 🙂
Irgendwie immer lustig, man kann in 3 sec nen Schritt nach rechts machen.
Man kann sich auch hinstellen und 3 min rumpöbeln und sich später wundern das man nen Herzinfarkt bekommt 🙂

Das ist ein konstruiertes Beispiel.
Ich kann meinen Kindern beibringen, bei Hunden und Kindern besonders vorsichtig zu sein. Ich habe aber keinen Einfluss auf das Verhalten der Autofahrenden auf der Fahrbahn. Das ist das Problem.

Die Konstruktion des Beispiels und die Erziehung deiner Kinder erlauben genau was?
Regeln müssen allgemein gelten. Dein Argument fortgesetzt bedeutet, wenn du im Auto auf Radler acht gibst können deine Kinder auch gefälligst auf der Straße radeln.
