the previous left wing government started plans to construct a new HSR mainline network to connect the majority of citizens in the country, the second the current right wing government got into power that was nuked into oblivion with vague promises of improving existing infrastructure instead (hasn't happened).
Don't worry. Unless I meet some very nice Swedish gal, it doesn't seem like I'd be able to move there, anyway.
