Doing an image search, there are a lot of real ones in various states of decay or oxidization. Certainly takes a lot more time (and straight up abandonment) for a DeLorean to show damage.

Have you ever seen a rusty Cybertruck? All this talk is based off one single forum post from an owner who didn't even know what he was photographing.
That's because the Deloreans you do see are typically pristinely restored. LOTS of Deloreans had rust.
