I think I'm going to have to wait for PBS space to cover this one...

I've run both. Started with Gnome.

I didn't absolutely love the UI but it wasn't bad.

Installed a bunch of plugins poked it product tweaked it. Made it exactly what I wanted.

One time I tried KDE and found that it was exactly what I was turning gnome into with all the plugins.

Admittedly, I think the Gnome control panels and tools are nicer.

Fuck your GP, get another. You're having an immune system problem. It might be there's nothing that can be done, but you need to be properly checked. That pain is your body fighting itself and it's not good.

I'm the mean time, start a regular regiment of naproxen, soak your knuckles in rather warm water to alleviate temporary pain and get into a new GP ASAP.

Before WOKE, they used weird as a term to describe LGBT*, emo and anything else they saw as against their values.

They just looked at other people not like them and said, they're weird right, and they would all agree.

Well now we're calling them weird and backing it up by calling out specific actions they know are wrong. Now they're saying no, no we're not weird at the same time internally going are we weird? They're questioning their values just a little. It won't stick long term or make changes. But they don't have introspection very often.

And the practice. In most cases are doctors are now essentially hair stylists working for some larger entity. A larger entity with shareholders. If you want somebody that cares you probably need to go see a family practice with only one or two doctors. The problem is places like that run out of spaces to see people quickly.

Yeah I've been using Linux for a very long time. The amount of time I've spent on the case being incorrect is non-trivial. I've gotten better at not screwing it up throughout the years but the sum of advantages is far outweighed by the sum of debugging time spent.

That would be absolutely amazing. How can we work out a community effort that is designed to teach, you some crowdsource tests maybe we can bring education to the masses for free...

"The United States had previously unilaterally regulated those tools as part of its campaign to restrict access to advanced technology by Chinese chipmakers who could contribute to Beijing's technological and military advances."

Reads that the US refused to let them export the machines to China because they had "some" US parts. The Netherlands intends to stop the US from having a say in the matter.

Sounds reasonable.

/opt/(app)/bin /usr/lib/(app)/bin /usr/lib64/app/bin /usr/local/(s)bin

I know there is logic and mapping of where everything's supposed to be in theory but in practice s***'s kind of all over the place.

It's easier to manage security that way.

Instead of having one binary folder full of stuff that's intended to be run with privilege access and non-privilege access, all the privileged stuff goes in sbin and you don't even see it in your path as a regular user. It also means that access rights can be controlled at the folder level instead of the individual file level.

Yeah, that's like saying Old spice sponsors and influencer to sell Old spice then saying that they were duped to work for Proctor and Gamble.

They've been pretty good about playing both sides. There have been plenty of videos of how to bypass add traffic and in the same video explaining how they rely on ad traffic . I don't love everything LMG does but they do seem to be kind of Open about the house wise and why nots of ad blocking.

Cats, and apparently capybaras are an invasive species on social media. I don't hate them or anything but they show up everywhere in places they have new business being.

Kenji shows a great way to get use out of some day old pasta. I always do stir fry rice from day old rice but never considered using old noodles. The recipe works out great and sounds like a time and money saver.

Slovenia

High above the village of Črni Vrh, fantastical ice formations—including spikes over a yard long—encase the trees and lookout tower atop Mount Javornik. The windswept ice, or hard rime, is the result of fog freezing after a week of snow and gales. This image appears in the December 2016 issue of National Geographic magazine.

spoilerDamn they got down to business right away! Loved the humor. Love the story, Cheezy streaming refs went on a little long. Fry, Leela and the Professors Voicing had a few rough spots that wouldn't have happened in the last incarnation, it honestly kinda reminded me of some of the early voicing in season 1. John DiMaggio's performance was flawless. I love that they kinda mixed in a small anthology, had most of the people make cameos.

Ollie is a drain clearing expert in Australia. He records every job and posts nearly daily, minimal editing. He shows you every step, what he's thinking and how to correct problems as he goes along. He's never political, always polite and he almost always gets the job done.

I've watched everything he's put out for the last few years, kind of a guilty pleasure.
