She knows the judge has on kid gloves for the trial so as not to give any reason for an appeals court to overturn. So she's pushing her luck. Also makes get famous for "sticking it to the judge" in Republican circles.

There is nothing to gain by concluding its stupidity. The Republican party harbors malice; Trump harbors malice. A razor doesn't supersede evidence.
Do you really think Habba is playing 4-D chess? She's working for a man who never pays his lawyers.
So either she’s smart enough to pass the bar and stupid enough not to understand how payment works or she’s not looking for financial compensation.
The bar isn’t that hard, but it’s hard to be that dumb and still pass it.
That's because she's angling for a job with one of the Republican news networks.
She didn't take the case because she thought she would get paid directly for it.
and gets quite a few of them disbarred.
